We recently sat down with a child refugee living in a refugee camp in Zambia. Her name is Martine. She told us that her most important wish is to be able to access education materials she needs so that her learning can improved and strengthened. We managed to get a family that will be buying for her every year books, note books and school uniform she will need. When we gave the the good news she bursted into tears and said that her live is sorted. She believe that with education, she will be able to have a better future and promised that she will do all that she can to have good grades that will take her in the highest level possible on education ladder.
We have many other children like Martine, that have similar dreams. Unfortunately they lack of support they need to be able to effectively take advantage of education and go to the path that will take them to better lives.
